Frequently asked questions

Can I try Wink for free first?

Yes, you can! We offer a  14-day free trial. There's no obligation and no credit card required. You’ll be able to connect your data sources and test drive Wink for real, not with demo data. If you decide to keep your account, subscribe monthly or yearly with no lock-in.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes, we do! We provide tech support plus a knowledge hub stuffed with articles, video tutorials on our Wink Reports YouTube channel, and our blog, called Reporting Heroes.

What are my payment options?

Wink Reports accepts credit card payments only. We use Stripe for safe and secure processing, and you can pay monthly or yearly. If required, we can arrange alternate payment methods for Enterprise clients.

If we add new users, how is that billed?

Your Wink plan sets the user limit, so if you are within your plan limits, you simply add a user. If you exceed your plan limits, you can upgrade easily. When you upgrade, not only do you get additional users, you’ll get extra Wink tools too.

What happens when I upgrade?

Wink Reports uses proration to manage upgrades if you're not at the end of your current billing period. This means that you’ll be credited the amount you have left in your current plan and only charged the difference for upgrading. Your new billing period will begin immediately. 

What happens when I downgrade?

Wink Reports uses proration to manage downgrades if you're not at the end of your current billing period. This means that you’ll be credited the amount you have left in your current plan and we'll keep using that until it runs out. Only then will we charge you again. 

This is the same for monthly or yearly payment cycles. For yearly cycles, you have a big discount, which means if you change yearly to monthly, you may have credit to use up before you start paying again. If you change from monthly to yearly, you’ll pay the yearly amount less any credit you have for your monthly cycle.

How many automation actions are included with ScanPDF Power-Up?

With the ScanPDF Power-Up, you receive three additional automation actions per scanned page. Your total automation actions are calculated based on your subscription and scan usage.

For example:

  • If your subscription includes 750 automated tasks, you have 750 automation actions.

  • If you also scan 200 pages, you get an additional (3 × 200) = 600 automation actions, bringing your total to 1,350 automation actions.

Do you offer discounts for non-profit organizations?

Wink Reports specializes in reporting analytics for inventory management software and job management software for trades and field service businesses. This means our integrations are focused on products used by these types of businesses, and our customer service teams are skilled at solving their reporting problems.

We're not best placed to support non-profit organizations in general, but if they fit into our niche, they're welcome to email our support team - we’ll assess requests on a case-by-case basis.
